Description
Film-faced plywood is built from thin wood veneers bonded cross-grain with water-resistant adhesive and faced on both sides with phenolic resin film. The dark film reduces concrete adhesion and protects the panel against moisture and wear. Edges are usually sealed with paint.
It is the standard choice for wall, column, beam and slab formwork, especially where a smooth fair-faced finish is required. With release agent and regular cleaning, the same panel can be used for several pours. Its moisture resistance also suits temporary platforms and ramps on site.
