Description
Cement-bonded particle board, widely known in Turkey as betopan, is made by mixing wood particles with Portland cement and additives and pressing them under high pressure. The cement binder makes it far more resistant to moisture, fire, rot and insects than wood-based boards. Its smooth grey surface is a good base for paint and other finishes.
It is widely used in wet areas, facade cladding, prefabricated buildings and dry floor build-ups. Its high density also helps with sound insulation. The board can be cut and drilled with power tools and screw-fixed to a frame.
Kemer Demir stocks cement-bonded board alongside its other building boards and supplies it wholesale or retail. The heavy sheets are handled and loaded with the warehouse's overhead crane. Contact us for current thicknesses and sizes.
