Description
A steel coil is flat sheet wound into a coil rather than cut into sheets. Coils come in black, galvanized and pre-painted versions, the last being factory-coated over a galvanized base. Working from coil reduces waste on long parts and production runs.
Coils are used for roll-formed profiles and roofing components, folded parts such as gutters and copings, ventilation ducting and volume sheet-metal production. Pre-painted coil gives a colour match on roof and façade details without extra painting.
We stock black, galvanized and pre-painted coils in a range of widths and thicknesses. Heavy coils are loaded onto vehicles with the overhead crane in our warehouse; colours and sizes vary with stock, so please check with us for current availability.
