Description
Galvanized sheet is steel sheet coated with zinc on both sides on a continuous hot-dip line. The zinc layer protects the steel from moisture and rain, and also gives a degree of cathodic protection at cut edges.
It is widely used for ventilation and air-conditioning ducts, flues and hoods, gutters, copings and flashings, electrical enclosures, and agricultural and livestock equipment. It can be used bare or painted over a suitable primer.
