Description
Checker plate is steel plate with a raised diamond pattern rolled into one face during hot rolling. The pattern improves grip for footwear and wheels, reducing the risk of slipping on walkways and work areas.
It is used for stair treads and landings, steel platforms and walkways, loading ramps, truck and trailer beds, and trench covers. Its robust build also makes it a common choice in busy industrial areas.
