Description
An oval profile is a welded hollow steel section with an elliptical or flat-oval cross-section. With no sharp corners, it looks softer and is comfortable to hold, which suits surfaces people touch.
It is widely used for stair handrails and balustrades, balcony and garden railings, metal furniture, shop fittings and ornamental ironwork. Combined with box and round sections, it adds a distinctive line to a design.
