Description
A galvanized profile is a box section cold-formed from zinc-coated steel strip. The zinc layer protects the steel from moisture and rain, so the profile resists rust far longer outdoors than an uncoated black section. Welds and cut ends should be touched up with cold galvanizing compound.
It is widely used for greenhouses and agricultural buildings, garden fencing, pergolas and shade structures, solar panel mounting frames and light steel structures. It is a common choice for outdoor work along the Antalya coast, where humid, salty sea air speeds up corrosion.
We stock galvanized profiles in a range of sections and wall thicknesses, in the same warehouse as our black and primer-painted profiles. That lets you combine different finishes in a single order, wholesale or retail.
