Description
Expanded metal is produced by slitting and stretching steel sheet into a one-piece diamond mesh. With no welds or joints, the mesh cannot unravel, and it forms a rigid surface for its weight. Lighter gauges come in rolls and heavier gauges in sheets.
Chain-link is woven from galvanized wire into a diamond pattern and sold in rolls. It is an economical choice for garden, field, poultry and livestock fencing. Expanded metal is used for guard cages, machine guards, plaster lath, ventilation grilles and decorative work.
