Description
Galvanized pipe is black steel pipe that has been hot-dip coated with zinc inside and out. The zinc layer protects the pipe from corrosion both in humid conditions and in lines that carry water.
It is widely used for water and irrigation lines, garden and agricultural applications, outdoor railings, fence posts and greenhouse structures. Threaded ends and sockets allow screwed connections with standard fittings, which makes installation straightforward.
