Description
A turbine roof ventilator has a vaned head that spins in the wind. The rotation creates suction in the flue or roof space, helping to exhaust hot, humid and stale air. It needs no electricity or motor, so there are no running costs.
It is fitted on the roofs of warehouses, workshops, barns and greenhouses, and on stove and fireplace flues. On flues it supports draught and reduces downdraught, while in roof spaces it helps limit condensation and overheating. It mounts on a pipe or roof adaptor of matching diameter.
