Description
Unprotected steel soon rusts when exposed to moisture and weather. Metalwork is therefore usually given an anti-rust primer followed by a synthetic topcoat. Spray paints suit small parts and touch-ups, while cellulose thinner is used to thin cellulose paints and to clean tools.
These products are used on wrought iron, gates, railings, fences, steel structures and workshop fabrication. Removing rust, grease and dust before painting has a direct effect on how long the coating lasts. Follow the thinning ratio and drying times given on the pack.
